From this page onward the surviving manuscript is wholly handwritten. Paul asks the group to see itself as part of a national movement and lists the channels through which young people could meet it: awards, travel, the NFTY academy, Torah Corps at Kutz Camp and programs in Israel.

Uncertainty
No title page or date survives. Internal references place the address at a SETY gathering in Savannah and have Paul returning to New York. The manuscript is not the Temple Israel sermon delivered after the October 1969 UAHC Biennial, which was a different occasion.
