Satzung der Sektion Halberstadt des D. u. Oe. A.-V. § 1. 1. Die Sektion führt den Namen: Sektion Halberstadt des D.u.Oe.A.-V. und hat Sitz und Leitung in Halberstadt. 2. Zweck der Sektion ist, Kenntnis der Hochgebirge zu erweitern und zu verbreiten, das Bergsteigen zu fördern, das Wandern in den Ostalpen zu erleichtern, ihre Schönheit und Ursprünglichkeit zu erhalten und dadurch die Liebe zur deutschen Heimat zu pflegen und zu stärken. 3. Die Sektion ist unpolitisch, die Erörterung und Verfolgung politischer Angelegenheiten liegt außerhalb ihrer Zuständigkeit. Die Sektion ist in das Vereinsregister des Amtsgerichts Halberstadt eingetragen. § 2. 1. Mittel zur Erreichung des Sektionszweckes sind insbesondere: Anlage von Sammlungen, Pflege der Sommer- und Wintertouristik, des alpinen Skilaufs und des Jugendwanderns, Förderung des Verkehrs-, Unterkunft-, Führer- und Rettungswesens, Veranstaltung von geselligen Zusammenkünften und von Vorträgen, von gemeinschaftlichen Bergfahrten und Wanderungen, sowie Unterstützung von anderen Unternehmungen, die den Vereinszwecken dienen, Anlage einer alpinen Bibliothek. § 3. 1. Wer in die Sektion aufgenommen werden will, muß von mindestens 2 Personen die bereits ein Jahr der Sektion als Mitglied angehören als Paten und Bürgen zur Aufnahme vorgeschlagen sein. 2. Die Vorschlagenden haben für den einwandfreien Leumund des neu Aufzunehmenden zu bürgen und zu haften für dessen finanziellen Verpflichtungen gegenüber der Sektion (z.B. Aufnahmegebühr, Mitgliedsbeiträge) im ersten Jahr der Mitgliedschaft persönlich. Die Aufnahme darf nur durch den Führer der Sektion nach Anhörung des Beirats erfolgen. Für die Aufnahme ist eine Gebühr zu entrichten. 3. Wer Mitglied der Sektion werden will muß arischer Abstammung sein und hat dies im Aufnahmegesuch nachzuweisen. Der Begriff der arischen Abstammung ist nach den bestehenden reichsgesetzlichen Bestimmungen zu beurteilen. 4. Jede Neuanmeldung ist unter Angabe von Namen und Stand des Bewerbers den Beiratsmitgliedern in geeigneter Weise bekannt zu geben.

Statutes of the Halberstadt Section of the German and Austrian Alpine Association Section 1 1. The section bears the name Halberstadt Section of the German and Austrian Alpine Association and has its seat and administration in Halberstadt. 2. The purpose of the section is to expand and spread knowledge of the high mountains; to promote mountaineering; to facilitate travel in the Eastern Alps; to preserve their beauty and original character; and thereby to cultivate and strengthen love of the German homeland. 3. The section is nonpolitical. Discussion and pursuit of political matters lie outside its jurisdiction. The section is entered in the association register of the Halberstadt Local Court. Section 2 1. Means of achieving the section’s purpose include in particular: establishing collections; fostering summer and winter touring, Alpine skiing and youth hiking; promoting transport, accommodation, guide and rescue services; holding social gatherings and lectures; organizing group mountain expeditions and hikes; supporting other undertakings that serve the association’s purposes; and establishing an Alpine library. Section 3 1. Anyone wishing to be admitted to the section must be proposed for admission by at least two people who have already belonged to the section for one year, acting as sponsors and guarantors. 2. Those proposing the applicant must vouch for the applicant’s impeccable reputation and be personally liable during the first year of membership for the applicant’s financial obligations to the section, such as the admission fee and membership dues. Admission may be made only by the leader of the section after consultation with the advisory council. An admission fee is payable. 3. Anyone wishing to become a member of the section must be of Aryan descent and must prove this in the application for admission. The concept of Aryan descent is to be judged according to the existing laws of the Reich. 4. Every new application, giving the applicant’s name and occupation or status, must be made known to the members of the advisory council in an appropriate manner.
