Commerzbank Wernigerode transferred Martha’s savings of 36,884.91 RM and 527.67 RM in interest, 37,412.58 RM in all, to the Oberfinanzkasse. The transfer came almost eight months after the transport to Auschwitz; it records the Reich collecting her property, not Martha’s presence in Berlin.
