- The writer, occasion, date, exact location, photographer and other people have not been identified. The mark “#Spiegel” may connect the print to the household of Ruth Reichenbach, whose later married name was Spiegel. If so, the print passed through Ruth’s keeping in America—a possible physical trace of her custody of family photographs. The identification is unconfirmed.
