Adolf’s gravestone looked less weathered in the 1970s

This family photograph shows Adolf Reichenbach’s gravestone during a return to Halberstadt in the 1970s. A descendant stood before the stone and recorded its condition before another half-century of weathering. The image supports comparison with the stone today, but it does not fix the exact visit date or photographer.
