English translation
Civil death register no. 664, Halberstadt, 19 November 1935. Before the undersigned registrar appeared today [the reporting person, personally known], resident in Halberstadt, and reported that the merchant Jacob Paul Reichenbach, fifty-nine years old, resident at Sedanstraße 52, born in Halberstadt, husband of Margarete Reichenbach, née Liebenthal, died at his residence in Halberstadt on 20 November 1935 at 7:30 in the evening. The informant declared that she had personal knowledge of the death. Read aloud, approved and signed. The registrar, by deputy: [signature]. The printed header bears 19 November while the death is entered as 20 November; that contradiction is present in the original record.
