This address-book page arranges Sedanstraße by house number and occupant. Its compilers placed the street in a printed map of Halberstadt households, including the address where Paul later died. Sedanstraße — street directory, page 105. The page is organized by house number, followed by each resident’s surname, initial and occupation. Personal names and street numbers remain unchanged in English. The occupational abbreviations on the page translate as: merchant; master craftsman; teacher; senior teacher; civil servant; secretary; tax inspector; court official; construction engineer; bookkeeper; locksmith; tailor; butcher; warehouse worker; physician; medical councillor; ballet master; private individual; widow; unmarried woman; retired; and invalid. The entry at no. 52 includes Paul Reichenbach’s household. Cross-references and firm names are printed in the right-hand columns.
