Personal names and street numbers remain unchanged in English. The occupational abbreviations on the page translate as: merchant; master craftsman; teacher; senior teacher; civil servant; secretary; tax inspector; court official; construction engineer; bookkeeper; locksmith; tailor; butcher; warehouse worker; physician; medical councillor; ballet master; private individual; widow; unmarried woman; retired; and invalid. The entry at no. 52 includes Paul Reichenbach’s household. Cross-references and firm names are printed in the right-hand columns.
