- Uncertainty
- The notice proves that the pair's marriage banns were published; it is not the civil marriage record and does not name Else's parents. Read with the 1931 notice naming Else Sernau, née Reichenbach, it strongly corroborates Siegfried as her spouse while the identification of Else with the family-memory name Liesl/Liesel remains open.
