Winter Clearance Sale Only a small selection from the abundance of our offers is shown here. The handbills advertise patterned cotton muslin, patterned wool muslin, sports fabric, artificial silk, tartan fabrics, fabric advertised as “Stichelhaar” and practical dress materials; satin and crêpe-satin remnants; women’s artificial-silk stockings in several grades; women’s underwear sets, shirts, briefs and underdresses; curtain fabrics, wall and sofa hangings, fringed tablecloths and brocade quilts; women’s gloves, cushions and decorative fabrics. The crossed-out and reduced prices are printed beside each item. “Those who buy from us buy well.” Sale from 31 January through 12 February 1938. HATEX, Mennigen & Co., Martiniplan 10, Halberstadt.
