A Reichenbach relative whose marriage brought Georg Wollenberg into the family business, and the mother of Hans Wollenberg.
The Berend Lehmann Museum records that Paula Reichenbach married Georg Wollenberg in 1903. Through that marriage Georg became a partner in the Reichenbach clothing business.
Paul described Georg in 1935 as an ‘angeheirateter Vetter’—a cousin by marriage. That wording establishes a collateral family connection but does not identify Paula’s parents or place her on a precise branch.
The original deportation list records Paula at Westendorf 15 with her son Hans. The former Jewish school and community building had been converted after 1938 into forced collective housing for Jews. They were forced from Halberstadt on 12 April, taken through the Magdeburg collection camp and placed on the 14 April transport to Warsaw.
A parallel three-page Halberstadt deportee list preserved by Yad Vashem records Paula and Hans together on frame 2 at Westendorf 15. The same frame lists Kurt Reichenbach at Dominikanerstraße 23. This corroborates the names, birth dates and forced addresses already read from the original transport list.
The Warsaw Judenrat recorded the train’s arrival on 16 April. No individual record now in the archive documents what happened to Paula afterward; the Federal Archives memorial book includes her among those persecuted and murdered by the Nazi regime.

Evidence note
Paula’s married household and son are documented by the museum account, but her parents and precise descent within the Reichenbach family remain unresolved.
