Kurt held Martiniplan 10 in his own name in 1921. A family chart places him as another son of Adolf and Goldine, though no vital record documents the relationship directly.
The original deportation list records Kurt at Dominikanerstraße 23. He was forced from Halberstadt on 12 April 1942 with Paula and Hans Wollenberg and taken through the Magdeburg collection camp. Their train departed on 14 April and was recorded in Warsaw on 16 April.
Yad Vashem item 6719646 preserves a parallel three-page Halberstadt deportee list. Frame 2 records Kurt at Dominikanerstraße 23 and also records Paula and Hans Wollenberg together at Westendorf 15, corroborating the entries already read from the original transport list.
The Federal Archives memorial book identifies Warsaw Ghetto as the transport destination. No surviving record now in the archive documents Kurt’s subsequent individual fate. His name is carved on Halberstadt’s Domplatz memorial.
