Rosalie was Ernst Reichenbach’s wife. She shared his Berlin household, was taken from Normannenstraße 2 in August 1944 and survived.
Rosalie Rosenberg was born in Berlin on 5 October 1890. She married Ernst Reichenbach and lived with him at Hagenstraße 49 in Grunewald before persecution brought them to Normannenstraße 2.
Ernst died there in November 1942. A transport list later names Rosalie at the same address on the 56th Osttransport, dated 10 August 1944, sheet 2, number 35. An American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee card gives 15 August instead; both dates remain with their sources.
Mapping the Lives marks Rosalie as survived, matching the family memory of Ernst’s widow in postwar Innsbruck. The surviving records do not yet trace each step between the transport and that later life.

What remains uncertain
The transport list gives 10 August 1944 while the AJDC card gives 15 August. Her survival is recorded, but her route through and after the transport is not yet complete. She is not Rosalie née Laske in OFP file 30793.
