A genealogist made the chart, and the family names passed through that hand before reaching the institutional collection. Document / objectThe sixth verse of Ruth and Albert’s wedding songThe sixth verse welcomes Albert’s parents into the comic family portrait and jokes about Max Rothschild’s fishing. Dolf wrote the joke for the wedding gathering. The verse tells us how the family spoke to one another, not whether every comic detail was literal.

An earlier genealogist assembled the chart, and the Leo Baeck Institute now holds the record. The cover joins the file but does not itself prove any family relationship.
